Healthcare Infrastructure Innovation Forum 2026 was successfully held with an agenda covering operating room utility presentation, modular operating theatre Indonesia presentation, and showroom tour.
After successfully delivering presentations with ARSKI and PABMI, PT Mega Andalan Kalasan (MAK), together with PT Mega Andalan Cleanroom Industri (MACI), once again took a concrete step through the organization of the Healthcare Infrastructure Innovation Forum 2026. This agenda was carried out as part of the company’s commitment to supporting the development of healthcare infrastructure that is modern, integrated, and aligned with the needs of hospitals in Indonesia.
From the beginning of the event, the participants’ enthusiasm was already evident. Each presentation session was not only a space for listening, but also a space for exchanging curiosity. The participants listened attentively to the materials, asked questions, and explored further how modern operating room systems can be designed to be more precise, efficient, and integrated.
The atmosphere of the forum was not merely that of a presentation agenda, but a meeting of ideas between the needs of healthcare facilities and continuously evolving technological solutions.
The participants’ enthusiasm became even more visible when they were invited to visit the PT MACI showroom. There, they did not only see the concept through explanations, but also witnessed firsthand how Modular Operating Theatre (MOT) technology is brought to life in a real setting.
The showroom also features a High Care Unit (HCU) room. Many participants asked questions, observed system details, and tried to understand the room workflow. They were also able to take a closer look at how the cleanroom, HVAC, operating room panels, hermetic doors, control systems, and various other supporting components work together as one integrated system.
The Forum Opened with Remarks from PT MAK Top Management
Through this forum, PT MAK together with PT MACI provided an educational space and introduced solutions related to healthcare facility development, particularly in optimizing operating room utility, the Modular Operating Theatre (MOT) system, and the implementation of hospital infrastructure that supports efficiency and safety in medical services.
The series of activities began with participant registration, souvenir and snack distribution, followed by the opening session. The event was then officially opened with remarks from the Top Management of PT Mega Andalan Kalasan (MAK).
“We have made our products go global by successfully exporting them to more than 50 destination countries, including Japan, New Zealand, the UK, and many others,” said H. Susanto Sudiro, M.Sc., Ph.D., representative of PT MAK Top Management.
This achievement serves as proof that PT MAK’s reputation as a national manufacturing company is unquestionable. With its experience, production capabilities, and quality standards that have been accepted in the global market, PT MAK continues to demonstrate its role in supporting the independence of the national medical device industry.
Presentation on Operating Room Utility Optimization
The next session featured a presentation by dr. Heru Satria Gama, M.M., Expert Team of RSUP Dr. Sardjito, with the topic “Optimization of Operating Room Utility in Accordance with Presidential Regulation and Indonesian Ministry of Health Regulations Related to National Medical Device Independence.”
In this session, participants gained insights into the importance of optimizing operating room utility to support the quality of hospital services. The discussion also highlighted the relevance of government regulations and the direction of national medical device independence as an important part of healthcare facility development in Indonesia.
Modular Operating Theatre Presentation by PT MACI
The Healthcare Infrastructure Innovation Forum 2026 continued with a presentation session on modular operating theatre Indonesia. In this session, PT MACI was represented by the President Director of PT Mega Andalan Cleanroom Industri (PT MACI), Lanjar Wahyudi, S.T.
Seperti diketahui, PT MACI merupakan anak perusahaan PT MAK yang berfokus pada pengembangan As one of the cleanroom contractors in Indonesia, PT MACI does not only focus on the appearance of the operating room, but also on how every element inside it can work in harmony.
This approach is important because the operating room is a critical area that requires system stability, environmental control, and precise technical planning. With an integrated system, hospitals can create operating rooms that are more efficient, safe, easy to maintain, and aligned with the needs of modern medical services.
Participants Joined the MOT, HCU, and Showroom Tour
After the brief presentation session, the participants enthusiastically joined a direct visit to several areas of the MACI showroom. The tour agenda began with the MOT tour at PT MACI’s MOT showroom, followed by the HCU Tour in the HCU Room. Participants were also invited to see how the hospital HVAC system works.
The Modular Operating Theatre (MOT) room at PT MACI’s showroom was directly designed by PT MACI Operational Director, Ir. David Gunawan Piter, MBA, using a 1:1 scale concept. This means the room was not created merely as a visual sample, but was presented to resemble an actual operating room so participants could experience firsthand how the MOT system works in real field conditions.
Inside it, every element, such as the cleanroom, HVAC, operating room panels, hermetic doors, control systems, medical gas, and supporting equipment, is designed as one integrated system. Through this showroom, participants could understand that a Modern Operating Room is not only about a clean and organized appearance, but also about how every system works together to maintain air stability, room cleanliness, medical team efficiency, and patient safety.
Interestingly, this showroom is also the only MOT showroom in Indonesia. Therefore, this activity was able to provide participants with a direct overview of what a real operating room looks and functions like.
